The project P.A.S.T.4Future was launched on 23 May 2018 in Tirana during the kick-off event, which was attended by all project partners and representatives of Albanian institutions (i.e. Minister of Finance and Economy, Minister of Tourism and Environment, Minister of Health and Social Protection).
In the following period, many communication and promotional activities have been implemented in the three partner countries to actively involve stakeholders in project activities, aimed at strengthening and widening the tourist offer of the target territories.
Communication workshops addressed to the general public, relevant institutions and project stakeholders working in the tourism sector were held on the following dates and venues:
- 22.06.2018 in Gravina in Puglia organized by the Municipality of Gravina in Puglia;
- 02.07.2018 in Campobasso organized by the LAG Molise verso il 2000;
- 17.07.2018 in Koplik organized by the Municipality of Malesi E Madhe;
- 19.07.2018 in Podgorica organized by the Municipality of Tuzi.
Workshops addressed to project stakeholders and aimed at discussing theoretical-practical aspects of entrepreneurial activities development in the field of Accessible and Sustainable (A&S) Tourism were also planned. These workshops represent a precious occasion to present the Cross-Border Network that the Project Partners are willing to develop in order to strengthen the tourist offer of the target territories.
Some of these workshops have already been held in Italy, others will be held in the next few days in Albania and Montenegro, as specified below:
- 05.07.2018 in Gravina in Puglia (IT): workshop attended by tour operators, tourist agencies, culture promotion associations, innovative start-ups working in the field of accessible tourism, owners of accommodation facilities (particularly of B&Bs);
- 23.07.2018 in Campobasso (IT): workshop attended by tour operators, tourist agencies, culture promotion associations, entrepreneurial associations;
- 07.09.2018 in Podgorica (ME): local businesses working in the tourist sector and NGOs committed to aid people with special needs (potential tourists and project beneficiaries) have been invited;
- 08.09.2018 in Koplik (AL): representatives of the project target audiences have been invited.
